I Looked Into Morethan Paradise
2026-08-30

I've been researching camping sites and glamping facilities that catch my interest, one by one, and writing articles about them. In this category, which I call 'Hotel-cation Detours,' I mainly check out accommodations that seem like they'd let you relax comfortably, similar to a ryokan or hotel.
This time, I looked into Morethan Paradise. I came across information suggesting it offers strong privacy by limiting bookings to just 3 groups per day, plus apparently a tent sauna and a private bath — as an indoor type, I couldn't help but get curious.
This is glamping that emphasizes privacy, with only 3 rooms and a limit of 3 groups per day, and what I found appealing was that each site apparently comes with its own private sauna and shower room.
As for the Rakuten Mobile signal, the official tool couldn't produce a result, so I can't say anything definitive.
I've summarized the details below.
What Kind of Place Is Morethan Paradise?
Apparently this is a dome tent glamping facility located in Nagatoro, Chichibu District, Saitama Prefecture. It seems to operate with only 3 rooms and a limit of 3 groups per day, which might be designed to minimize the chance of running into other groups. It appears to be open year-round with no regular closing days, and the reception desk seems to be available from 9 AM to 6 PM. Check-in reportedly runs from 3 PM to 6 PM, and check-out from 8 AM to 10 AM.
The rate for a room-only stay starts at 12,000 yen per person (it seems this can go up to 20,000 yen or more per person depending on the season), while a stay with dinner and breakfast starts at 26,000 yen per person. Preschool-age children apparently stay free if they skip the meals. Reservations can reportedly be made through a dedicated form on the official website, as well as through travel booking sites like Jalan or Rakuten Travel, and it seems phone reservations are accepted too.
Checking Out What's Inside the Dome Tent
The dome tent is apparently 7 meters in diameter, with about 38 square meters of interior space. It's said to come fully equipped with heating and air conditioning, and for bedding, there are reportedly four semi-double beds made by Simmons, with simple additional bedding brought in when 5 to 6 people are staying.
- Plumbing: Each site apparently comes with its own toilet with a heated bidet seat, a private shower room, a vanity sink, and hot water supply.
- Power and connectivity: It seems AC outlets and Wi-Fi are provided.
- Climate control: There's reportedly an individual air conditioner and ventilation system.
- Appliances and equipment: It appears there's a refrigerator, an electric kettle, a hair dryer, and more.
- Amenities: Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, bath and face towels, a toothbrush set, slippers, and more are reportedly provided.
As an indoor type, I quietly appreciated that the plumbing facilities are independent at each site. Not having to walk over to a shared facility is a huge plus for someone as reluctant to go out as me.

It sounds like each site has its own shower and toilet, so even someone as shy as me feels like I could stay comfortably here.
Tent Sauna and Private Bath: A Little Luxury
One feature unique to this facility that caught my attention is that each site apparently comes with its own wood-fired tent sauna. It's offered as an option for 2,000 yen per person, and reportedly includes a sauna hat and a gown. On top of that, the management building on the property also has a private bath with a projector, available as an option for 2,500 yen per 45 minutes, and it seems reservations are handled on a first-come, first-served basis at check-in.
The BBQ space is also independent for each unit, apparently equipped with a Weber gas grill. Usage is reportedly limited to until 9 PM, so rather than planning to stay up late, it seems better to build your schedule around wrapping things up a bit earlier.
There's also an activity facility on the grounds, where it seems you can enjoy things like rafting and kayaking. Nearby, there's apparently also Nagatoro's famous rock formations, a gorge, and Hodosan Shrine, though I couldn't confirm the exact travel times. There also seem to be nearby facilities offering day-use baths, such as the Kamenoi Hotel in Nagatoro Yorii, which might be worth a visit for a change of pace.
Rakuten Mobile Signal Conditions
When I checked this facility's location using the official 'My Area Connectivity Simulation' tool, no result came up — instead, it displayed a message saying something like 'Temporary maintenance in progress.' It seems this kind of message can appear when the address data hasn't been registered in the tool yet.
Because of that, I wasn't able to confirm the signal conditions this time, so the result is simply unknown. It didn't feel right to write something without enough information to go on, so I'll just leave this point as it is.

I'm the type who gets even more curious when a result doesn't come up, so if you're actually planning to go, it might be reassuring to check for yourself beforehand.
Wrapping Up
To sum it up again, my impression of Morethan Paradise is that it's a glamping facility designed with privacy in mind, limited to 3 rooms and 3 groups per day, complete with its own sauna and private bath. The fact that the plumbing inside the dome tents is independent at each site also felt like a point I couldn't overlook as an indoor type.
On the other hand, the Rakuten Mobile signal conditions remain unknown, since the official tool wasn't able to produce a result. If you're concerned about this, checking the official Rakuten Mobile tool yourself beforehand should make it easier to plan your stay.
