I Looked Into ELL'S PARK Nagatoro
2026-08-29

As I've gone through campsites, day-trip hot springs, and lodging facilities one by one for this blog, the list has grown to a decent size without me really noticing. This time I decided to change things up a bit and look into a glamping facility where you can stay together with your dog.
What got me started was simply being drawn to the words "trailer house." I don't actually have a dog myself, but when I heard the phrase "built specifically for dogs," I got curious about what kind of facilities that would involve, so I decided to look into ELL'S PARK Nagatoro, located in Nagatoro, Saitama.
Every unit comes with its own private natural-grass dog run and a full set of indoor amenities, so it seems like you could enjoy a stay that's close to hotel-level comfort even with your dog along.
As for Rakuten Mobile signal, the official tool didn't return a result, so I'll be upfront and mark this one as unknown.
I've put together the details below.
What Kind of Facility Is ELL'S PARK Nagatoro?
It's a trailer-house-style glamping facility located in Nagatoro, Chichibu District, Saitama Prefecture, and its biggest characteristic seems to be that it's built on the premise that you'll bring your dog along. In addition to trailer houses, it apparently also offers a tent-based option called the "Dog Camp Site." It looks like it operates year-round, and aside from bad weather or maintenance days, you should basically be able to use it throughout the year.
As a rough price guide, trailer house stays seem to run from around 22,000 to 66,000 yen per unit, Dog Camp Site stays run from around 22,000 to 33,000 yen per site (up to 12 people), and day-use of the Dog Camp Site starts from around 27,500 yen. Pet accompaniment fees appear to be included in the base rate, with up to three small dogs or two medium/large dogs able to stay for free.
Check-in for the trailer houses seems to run from 3 PM to 5 PM, and for the Dog Camp Site from 2 PM to 5 PM, while check-out for both looks to be around 8 AM to 10 AM. Early check-in and late check-out options are apparently available too, so it seems like they can accommodate guests who want to arrive a bit early or take their time before leaving. Besides the dedicated booking system on the official site, reservations also seem to be possible through outside sites like Rakuten Travel, Jalan, and nap.

I really like that you can choose between a trailer house and tent camping. I'm the indoor type, so if I were picking, it'd be the trailer house without question.
Checking Out the Indoor Amenities as an Indoor Person
From what I found, every trailer house comes with a washlet-equipped toilet, an indoor AC power outlet, Wi-Fi, and a unit bath, so it seems like you could use it more like a lodging facility than a campsite. Unit D, the special unit, apparently even comes with its own sauna and cold plunge bath, which struck me as a pretty luxurious setup.
- Bedding: Beds are provided, and it seems you can even sleep alongside your dog
- Climate control: Every unit apparently comes with an air conditioning unit and an air purifier
- Kitchen facilities: A refrigerator/freezer, microwave, electric kettle, gas stove, BBQ grill, and a full set of cookware and dishes are provided, and bringing your own food and drinks is apparently free and allowed
- Video equipment: Besides an LCD TV, some units apparently also come with a projector and screen
- Rooftop deck: Units B and C reportedly have a rooftop deck
True to its focus on dogs, the dog-run-related facilities seem quite extensive as well. Every trailer house comes with its own private natural-grass dog run, and double doors to prevent escapes are apparently installed in every area. There's also a POOP BOX (a trash bin just for waste), leash hooks, a paw-washing station for dogs, and even a dog pool set up during summer, which gave me the impression that this place was designed with a lot of care from an owner's perspective.
Rakuten Mobile Signal Conditions
I checked this facility's location using the official "My Area Network Simulation" tool, but when I entered the address and ran the simulation, no result came up—instead I just got a fallback message saying "Currently under temporary maintenance." It seems like this can happen when there isn't enough data registered for a given area.
So this time, I wasn't able to give a "good" or "shaky" verdict on the signal conditions—I have no choice but to mark it as unknown (unable to measure). Forcing a definitive answer when I couldn't actually confirm anything would go against what this blog is about, so I'm leaving it as is.

Honestly, it's a bit deflating when no result comes up, but not sweeping that under the rug is this blog's policy, so I'm writing it as-is.
I Also Looked Into Nearby Sightseeing Spots
Hodosan Shrine is apparently within walking distance, and other Nagatoro-style sightseeing spots—like the Hodosan Ropeway, the Nagatoro rock formations, and Asami Reizo, known for its shaved ice made with natural ice—seem to be scattered nearby as well. That said, I wasn't able to look into the exact travel time from the facility, so if you're planning an actual visit, it might be a good idea to check the distances on a map app beforehand.
Also, since this facility is so focused on dogs, I came across information suggesting there's a nearby hot spring facility dedicated to dogs, using natural spring water piped directly in. It sounds like not just the owners but the dogs themselves might get to enjoy a hot spring experience, which I personally found pretty interesting.
Wrapping Up
Pulling this all together, ELL'S PARK Nagatoro struck me as a trailer-house-style glamping facility where you can enjoy hotel-like amenities even with your dog along. The fact that every unit comes with a private dog run, a washlet, Wi-Fi, and a unit bath felt appealing even to someone like me who leans indoor.
On the other hand, when it came to Rakuten Mobile signal, the official tool didn't give a verdict, so I had no choice but to report it as unknown—that's the conclusion this time. If you're actually considering staying there and it's a concern, it might be worth checking with the Rakuten Mobile official tool yourself.
